Like most religions, Islam promotes peace, acceptance, and forgiveness. This raises the question as to why there is such a stigma around being both Muslim and homosexual. Being now in 2022, in a modern world, the hatred and stigma toward homosexual Muslims cannot be entirely Islam’s fault, but more on how a certain segment of the Muslim community still interprets it. To answer this question, I have to compare Islam to Christianity, being that they are very similar on paper.
