This picture was taken last year on the 30th of December in the Alps (where I lived). As you can see on the picture, there was not a a lot of snow even during the heart of winter. In the valley, a lot of locals that have lived there for generations have seen the drastic changes happening in their landscapes. Most of them attribute it to the consequences of human activities but others persist to ignore the phenomena. Whether they accept the idea of our implications in this crisis, all of them are already affected in different ways (farmers, skiers, tourists, etc).
