Although there is no “right” way to learn about sexuality, as many households, schools, or even friends could teach dangerous things about sexuality, in my personal experience my parents and media were competent in teaching me about what was morally acceptable in terms of sexuality, while schooling taught me about the physical aspect of sex. In general, the influence that every person takes is a blend of these things, and unfortunately sexuality may be misunderstood to a dangerous point, which is obvious when seeing the Westover family’s twisted views.
