This is what we call thiere. It’s a couscous made with millet that Senegalese ( sereers In particularly) really love to eat. On Friday, it’s what many people are used to eat for dinner and at the night of Tamkharitt (‘achura), a Muslim feast that became cultural too. We can eat it with different kind of sauce or with milk. We can’t eat with fish, meat, chicken or with meat and chicken especially on Tamkharite.
