If one were to read “Trapped” blindly, one wouldn’t notice the subliminal racism and racial profiling displayed by one of the characters. It starts off with two teenage boys, one white by the name who befriend each other and join the school basketball team. Everything seems to be going in a decent direction until one night they’re stopped by the cops. Ricky, thinking nothing about it, doesn't seem to care but Lance is on full alert. The officer prods him with multiple questions, trying to see if Lance was hiding something.
