Throughout time, texts have evolved starting from writings in stones and leaves, in many types of paper like scrolls and finally, books. Those texts have indeed been very important over time since they have been passing knowledge through generations. The book “The Anatomy of the Human Gravid Uterus” has been one such text that has played a role in the distribution of medical knowledge from the 18th century. This rare book shows that although medical books from the 18th century share many similarities with books from the 21st century, they have many differences.
