I felt a strong feeling of pity in reaction to God’s unequal consequences for Adam and Eve after they ate from the Tree of Knowledge. Obviously, I agree that the man and the woman both disobeyed to God and therefore deserve to be punished in a certain way. However, I believe that Adam and Eve are both equally guilty, as they both knew that it was strictly forbidden to eat the apple. Therefore, I think that their consequence should be the same. The snake in my opinion in truly the “bad” one in this story, as he lied about them becoming divine beings if they ate the apple. I felt surprised…
