In February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. In February 2024 Tucker Carlson, a conservative journalist, conducted an interview in which he allowed Putin to essentially monologue for two hours. Carlson does not push back when Putin presents facts of dubious quality and in fact follows up with questions that do not challenge the Russian president. In this essay the question of the negative moral status of interviewing and broadcasting an interview with Putin will be proven.
