This activity is fabulous for preschoolers. In this activity, on one side of each card write a number and on the other side draw the corresponding amount of dots. Put some table salt in a dish. Invite the children to count the number of dots on the card and they write the number in the salt using a brush. Flip the card to see if the children got it right. But if not, shake the salt and ask the children to count again and copy the number correctly. This game will keep the children busy. They will also learn number writing and counting which promotes self-checking and self-correction.
