Truth Telling: Seven Conversations About Indigenous Life in Canada

Michelle Good is a well-known Cree writer and lawyer from Saskatchewan and has published two books, the newest being Truth Telling: Seven Conversations About Indigenous Life in Canada. This book is a collection of essays that speaks on different topics ranging from racism to Indigenous literature, all to cement Indigenous voices in our current society and to educate non-Indigenous people on topics concerning their communities. Two essays in this book stood out to me the most, namely “$13.69” and “The Rise and Resistance of Indigenous Literature”.
