With CEGEP being officially over, I can now look back on the whole shebang with—a bit—of perspective. I did not exactly need that perspective to know that, but Model UN shaped my four semesters, improved my overall experience by tenfold, and created an environment in which I thrived. Although my first year in Model UN was pretty awesome on its own, it is only mediocre compared to this year. As Secretary-General, I gained responsibility and experiences, attended an in-person conference (thanks to Covid-19 for affecting the circuit again), and had the time of my life.
