The Gaia hypothesis was proposed by James Lovestock and it says that the Earth behaves as an “immense, complex, self-sustaining organism” (Kingsley 191). it suggests that life interacts with their life-free surroundings on Earth to form a world where life can keep on happening. It suggests that the Earth is a product of life and that it isn't simply a place where life just exists. It's a place where every living being causes other living beings to be able to exist
