I chose this part of the garden because I think the contrast and the opposite narratives were very visible. In the picture, we recognize one side of the pathway with neat, green, freshly cut grass while on the other side, the grass is untamed and brown in some eras. These 2 sides of the road represent 2 opposite narratives. The clean green grass was once a symbol of wealth and having made it financially. Even to this day, when we pass by a house where the lawn is mowed and very green looking, we find it pleasing compared to a house where it’s brown and long. The opposite side of the road…
