Despite vaccination being the hope in the covid-19 pandemic, whether or not vaccines should be mandatory is heavily debated and has been for some time. While some countries mandate certain vaccines, others adopt voluntary vaccination. Incentives also exist such as the financial incentive to get vaccinated in Australia (Walkinshaw) or being required to get vaccinated to attend school in the U.S. (Walkinshaw).
