At our afternoon at Vanier College we were able to see all the different types of project they do throughout the year and see how they diminish their carbon footprint. Vanier took lots of time to create an action plan about their gardens and trees that they planted to make their school green. They plant plants that will hopefully benefit them in the future; like fresh fruits or vegetables. Many students are included in this process which not only gives these students a learning experience but also gives them ideas to go home and do these projects.
