From June 12th-20th, I went on a trip to Peru to volunteer in daycares in the poorest town in the capital city of Lima. What this trip showed me is that even the smallest gestures, helping manage the kids, help with transitions from activities, and even participating in actvities can make a huge difference in not only the lives of the children, but the teachers in these facilities as well.
