In January, the owner of a kindergarten in Brossard, who is Palestinian, organized a fundraiser for a month in order to raise awareness about the genocide of the Palestinians following October 7th. We gave flyers for the people to take home explaining what is happening. We also explained how the genocide started 76 years ago; we spoke from experiences, like how our grandparents had to leave Palestine as they had no choice but to in order to protect themselves and their kids due to the occupation.
