Personally, I feel like God had every right to react in that way. He provided Adam and Eve with everything they could possibly need and ordered them to follow one rule, which was to not eat from the Tree of Knowledge, or they would be “doomed to die!” Unfortunately, the couple decided to listen to the serpent and disobey God. I think that the consequences that they faced were fair, because God the creator had clearly told them in the beginning to not do one thing, but they did not follow that instruction due to their curiosity.
