People say cows are bad because of how the rainforests are destroyed in order to create space for the grains, soybeans, and corn, that the cow consumes. The transport of these products also produce tons of carbon due to the petroleum and diesel that are used to power the machineries and vehicles. With just the cows alone, they also produce quite a good amount of methane, the quantity of their burps and farts are considered to be harmful for the environment at 33 pounds of methane per pound of meat.
