Unfortunately, there are many issues at play in regard to the current Wet'suwet'en protests. The first effect would be the negative impact they are having on some canadian workers. For example, my father who works for CN Rail informed me that many of his coworkers are losing their jobs and he will not get paid equally. This also goes for workers for Via Rail whom also had to cancel trips in result of the blockades.
