The charm of a teacher I think has a great deal to do with how students approach certain subject matter. A person’s character can attract or deflect other from listening and being interested in their teachings or not. Therefore, a teacher who, even if they have to, ‘fake it’ to make a subject more interesting, they first must convince themselves that the content is worth while, meaningful and important, which they can translate that energy onto their pupils. This, however, needs to be maintained and consistent for the charm to be effective.
