The climate march was aimed at demanding more action on climate change. The youth behind the march was joining the movement calling for a global strike for climate justice. The climate march had the support of many people: I saw students, politicians, and many scientists and academic experts all calling for a coherent transition plan "for an oil and gas free Quebec by 2030". The goal of those present was to transform society and learn to live without fossil fuels. Quebec can and must get off oil and gas.
