Since the beginning of Covid-19, different countries and their corresponding government had different approaches toward the pandemic. Indeed, China, for example, has implemented a zero-Covid policy with intensive restrictions and measures. However, despite having heavy control on the Covid cases, another uncontrolled issue is arising with this policy which is Covid-related waste. Questions like the following are raised: is the zero-Covid policy a great plan to address the pandemic? Immanuel Kant, a deontologist thinker, would be favorable to zero-Covid policy.
